Kennel Assistant We are a small animal hospital located in northern orange county seeking energetic, motivated and dependable assistants to join our knowledgeable, hard working and very caring team. The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and the highest quality of care to their pets.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting Doctors and Technicians Experience restraining animals. Filling prescriptions. Cleaning cages. Doing Laundry. Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises - inside and outside. Feeding and caring for dogs and cats. Bathing dogs and cats. Walking dogs. Skills Understanding of Cornerstone software a plus Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Ability to communicate with doctors and clients Strong organizational skills Team player and positive attitude a must This is a physical job and candidates must be able to lift 30-40 pounds and stand on their feet for long periods of time.
