Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and Veterinary Assistant

We are currently seeking Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will be compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic about providing excellent patient care. You will assist the veterinarians in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic veterinary clinic. The anticipated starting hourly rate for individuals expressing interest in this position is $21 to $31 per hour. Rate to be determined by the schedule, location, experience, certifications, skills, and abilities of the applicant.

Role Responsibilities:

Ability to perform veterinary technician duties.

Including but not limited to:

venipuncture, IV catheter placement, basic drug calculations, fluids and CRIs, radiology Obtain and run/process lab samples Monitoring and treatment of critical patients Providing critical care and treatments to hospitalized pets Understanding of isolation protocols Monitoring anesthesia Assisting veterinarians with medical notation, client communication, exams, and various medical procedures Preferred knowledge of how to set up various emergency procedures (laceration repairs, unblocking cats, etc.) Restraint of both dogs and cats Comfortable with

IV/IM/SQ

injections Preferred urine collection via cystocentesis ultrasound guided (K9 and feline) Stocking and cleaning

Requirements:

Weekends Hospital Hours:
