About the
Hospital :

Job Duties :
Client communication, gentle animal handling, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, IM injection, ultrasound guided cystocentesis, radiology, cytology (slide prep/staining), reading of ear/skin cytology, surgical prepping, monitoring of anesthesia, dental scaling, polishing, charting, and nomenclature, full mouth intraoral radiology, detailed medical record documentation, assisting veterinarians with appointments and surgeries. Having a positive attitude and an honest assessment of your own skills and limitations.
Candidate Requirements :
Seeking an experienced (min. 2 years) veterinary technician or assistant. Please see job duties above. Ideal candidates should feel comfortable and confident as the face of the practice. Candidates should also be professional with outstanding customer service skills, have the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail, be organized, and have excellent communication both in person and through writing. A successful candidate is someone who will take initiative and is motivated with a strong work ethic. Empathy and compassion while being able to remain calm under stress is essential.
