Full Job Description Join Our Team:
Veterinary Kennel/Boarding Assistant AAHA Certified | High-Quality Patient Care | Experienced Candidates Encouraged We are an AAHA certified veterinary hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care and medicine to our patients. We're currently looking to expand our team and are seeking a Veterinary Kennel/Boarding Assistant to join us. While this position is entry-level , we strongly encourage candidates with experience in animal care, dog training, or related fields to apply. If you have prior experience or any relevant credentials, we're happy to offer a more competitive salary and further growth opportunities within our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist doctors and technicians with various tasks, from animal handling to cleaning Clean cages, runs, boarding areas, exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgery rooms as needed Provide pets with clean bedding, fresh water, and litter boxes Wash and sanitize pet dishes Feed and occasionally assist in medicating hospitalized or boarded pets Perform laundry and sanitize towels, gowns, surgical instruments, etc. Vacuum and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene Clean all counters and surfaces throughout the hospital

Previous experience in animal care, kennel work, or dog training is preferred Candidates with dog training credentials or related experience will be considered for a higher starting rate Ability to handle animals of all temperaments with care and compassion A reliable , detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Availability to work on weekends day Hourly pay based on experience Why Join Us?
