Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical ,dental and surgical care to animals
• Perform routine procedures including vaccinations, blood draws, taking radiographs, dental cleanings, dental X-Rays ..
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Prepping animals for surgery, anesthesia monitoring and assist during surgical procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or degree in veterinary technology gets priority
• RVT who performs dental extractions gets priority.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology , drug dose calculations.
• Experience with friendly small animal and restraint skills.
• Proficiency in small animal IV catheterization and sample collection
• Familiarity with veterinary critical care and emergency procedures
• Knowledge of animal husbandry and nutrition
• Candidate must be able to work in a team environment, polite ,team player and punctual at work
