Duties Assist with animal handling, restraint, and pet care to ensure safety and comfort during examinations and procedures Support veterinary technicians with tasks such as IV insertion, medication administration, animal catheterization, and surgical assistance Maintain cleanliness of the clinic by performing thorough cleaning, sanitation, and equipment sterilization in accordance with veterinary standards Manage record keeping including updating patient charts, treatment logs, and medication records accurately Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, appointment scheduling, and follow-up care Handle front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing client check-ins Support animal husbandry practices including feeding, bathing, grooming, and monitoring animal behavior for signs of distress or illness Qualifications Previous kennel experience or hands-on animal handling experience preferred Veterinary clinic or veterinary technician experience highly desirable Strong skills in animal restraint, pet care, and client communication essential for success in this role Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Commitment to animal welfare and safety using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about animal health who are eager to grow their skills within a supportive team environment. Pay:

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 40.0 per week
