What We're Looking For We are seeking experienced professionals who: Have prior emergency veterinary experience (required) Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Remain calm and organized under pressure Demonstrate excellent technical and patient care skills Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers Are dependable and willing to jump in where needed Share our commitment to compassionate, high-quality medicine Qualifications Veterinary Assistants Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience Emergency experience required California Controlled Substance Permit required Registered Veterinary Technicians Current California RVT license in good standing Emergency and critical care experience required Compensation Compensation is based on results of our skills assessment exam. Veterinary Assistant $28-$32/hour Registered Veterinary Technician $30-$44/hour Additional Shift Differentials +$7.00/hour for Overnight Shifts +$4.00/hour for Weekend Shifts Per Diem Availability This position is ideal for professionals seeking flexibility. Our Per Diem Team members choose the shifts they are available to work based on hospital needs. While hours are not guaranteed, we ask team members to remain active by working occasional shifts throughout the year to stay familiar with our protocols and maintain proficiency.
