Job Description

Cirby Ridge Animal Hospital is an established and respected veterinary clinic with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and top-quality care to our beloved pets. Our team is dedicated to promoting the well-being of animals and fostering stronger connections between pets and their owners. We are currently searching for a devoted and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team and contribute to our mission.
Position Overview:
In the role of Veterinary Receptionist you will play a pivotal part in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the seamless operation of our clinic. This position provides an opportunity for you to work closely with our veterinary professionals, aid in examinations and treatments, and provide exceptional care to our patients. Key Responsibilities; Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar. Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and professionally. Check-in patients, obtain necessary information, and update medical records. Assist with billing and processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow. Provide support to veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist is preferred. A strong passion for animal welfare and care. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges. A compassionate and empathetic approach toward animals and their owners. Flexibility to work Saturdays as required.
