Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
• Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, such as bloodwork and urinalysis
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
• Take and develop X-rays of animals
• Provide basic grooming services, such as anal glands and nail trimming
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures
• Maintain accurate medical records for all animals

Experience:

• Anesthetic monitoring
• Knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and common diseases
• Familiarity with veterinary equipment and tools, including X-ray machines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
