Job Description
VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists is looking for a new team member to join our work family. Our team enjoys working together and we have a positive, professional and upbeat working environment. In this position the team member will triage new arriving emergencies, assist the Criticalist or Internal Medicine doctor with estimates and some additional paperwork, initiate treatments, converse with clients on the phone and in person, complete discharges in detail with medications and review clients at home instructions. We support growth and learning. Initial training will be for 6 weeks. After initial training there is a checklist to guide the team member and additional assessments to keep learning. 4 ten hour shifts with at least one weekend day would be required. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $22 to $30 per hour.
