Job Description
Join a Compassionate Team as a technician or experienced assistant at a privately owned Animal Hospital in Brighton, Colorado! We opened in 2021 and recently expanded our facility, and are looking for a Veterinary Technician or experienced assistant! Why choose Wildflower? We are a privately owned practice open from 8am-5am Monday-Friday. So no overnights, no weekends, and no on-call shifts! We strive to offer excellent medicine and help our patients as much as possible! Are a very well staffed practice with 1 Owner, 3 Associate Veterinarians, 5 Registered Vet Techs, 6 Vet Assistants, 3 Receptionists, 1 Kennel Technician, and a Practice Manager. We see a lot more interesting cases than your normal GP, including but not limited to: Amputations, Pyometras, Splenectomy, Enucleations, Nephrectomy, Thyroidectomy, Dentigerous cyst, and so much more! We also work with specialists including mobile IM, Orthopedic surgeon, Board certified Dentist, etc. We have a lot of great equipment including dental and body x-ray, FAST scan ultrasound, Ligasure, Phovia, and Idexx Equipment. Starting Vacation Time is 2 weeks and 48 hours of sick leave, and increases with your seniority. We also have 6 paid holidays. We offer a 401K with matching! We are very inclusive and LGBTQIA+ friendly! We practice Fear Free/Low Stress animal handling! We do not offer health insurance as the majority of our staff voted no on it, BUT we do offer a partial insurance reimbursement plan. We have 7 exam rooms, a surgical suite, a large breakroom, and an associate office separate from the owner and manager.
