What You'll Do As one of our Veterinary Technicians or Assistants, you're the glue that keeps the entire practice running smoothly. Here's a snapshot of what your day may include:
Stocking & Logistics:
Ensuring the veterinary truck is loaded with essential supplies.
On-the-Go Support:
Traveling to client facilities, setting up equipment, taking TPR's and prepping for procedures. Or checking in outpatients at our Haul-In facility, taking vitals, and getting IV catheters in.
Patient Handling:
Safely lunging, jogging, and restraining horses during exams and treatments.
Hands-On Treatment:
Applying bandages, administering laser or shockwave therapy, and injectables under the veterinarian's direction.
Administrative Tasks:
Managing invoicing, medical record assistance, and client/team communications.
Laboratory Sample handling:
Prepping all samples to send out or run in house laboratory tests. Adapting on the
Fly:
Rolling with the inevitable surprises that come with equine practice—and keeping your smile through it all!
Schedule:
Typically 35-40 hours/week, 8 AM - 6 PM, four days/week . We're open to discussing other schedules for the right candidate.
Who We're Looking For Equine Experience:
You have extensive horse experience and at least 1 year of veterinary technician or assistant work under your belt.

You're resourceful, adaptable, and eager to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment.

You excel at recognizing what needs to be done and taking initiative without being asked. Paid Time Off :
