Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy family owned veterinary practice. We prefer a full-time team member but will consider the right part-time candidate. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM - noon We are a compassionate, team-oriented busy small family veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to their families. Responsibilities Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism Check patients and their owners in and out Answer a multi-line phone system and schedule appointments Process payments and maintain accurate records Prepare medications for client pickup Assist with general front office and administrative duties Maintain clean office Work closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure a smooth, efficient client experience Qualifications Previous veterinary or medical office experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Strong computer and typing skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and a true team player Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred A genuine love for animals and the people who care for them Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Comfortable bending, reaching, and occasionally assisting with pets when needed Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Six paid holidays Uniforms provided We are looking for someone who will treat every pet as if it were their own and every client with kindness, patience, and respect.
