Veterinary Assistant / Technician

Hartford Veterinary Hospital is extending hours and in need of weekend help! We are looking for dependable and hardworking veterinary assistants / technicians to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a veterinary hospital and have some technical skills, as responsibilities will include: monitoring anesthesia, dental cleanings with radiographs, surgery prep, in-house diagnostics, etc. The applicant must have at least a year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting and a willingness to learn. We are a private, veterinarian owned and operated hospital with a focus on high quality care for our patients and quality of life for our staff. We have just completed a major renovation and our modern practice has been outfitted with all the latest technology, including: digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house Idexx CBC/Chem analyzers, ultrasound, and more! The position is open to both part-time and full-time applicants.
