Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care, veterinary procedures, and clinic operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside veterinary professionals in a fast-paced environment, supporting animal health and client satisfaction through skilled assistance and compassionate pet handling. Experience Prior veterinary assistant experience in a clinical setting is required, with familiarity in veterinary terminology and procedures. Experience working with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and small mammals. Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and basic laboratory techniques enhances effectiveness in this role. Proven ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques. Strong understanding of pet care practices including medication administration, animal restraint, and general animal husbandry. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members in a professional manner. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
