The ideal candidate enjoys patient care, diagnostic work, and helping clients understand their cat's medical needs. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized professional who can multitask, communicate confidently, and work independently while remaining accountable to the needs of patients, clients, and the medical team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break. There are no weekend or evening shifts. Have at least three years of veterinary experience. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Be comfortable speaking with clients about medical care and treatment plans. Understand the importance of building trust between clients and veterinary staff. Be organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and accountable. Work well independently and as part of a collaborative team. Have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help patients and their owners. Enjoy working in a lower-volume, detail-oriented internal medicine practice. Be comfortable working exclusively with cats or eager to develop feline-specific handling skills. Have basic veterinary technician skills; the ability to draw blood is preferred. Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Be proficient in Cornerstone Veterinary Software or an equivalent veterinary practice-management system. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. This position may be especially well suited to a skilled technician seeking a more balanced and sustainable pace of practice, with time to provide attentive patient care and meaningful client support. What We Offer We believe exceptional patient care starts with supporting the people who provide it. Our practice is committed to maintaining a respectful workplace where team members are supported, valued, and encouraged to grow professionally.
