Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant pet care team as a Pet Boarding and Daycare Specialist, where your passion for animals and dedication to exceptional care come to life! Location can be in Lewes, or the surrounding area. In this role, you will provide in-home pet boarding and daycare services, ensuring each guest feels safe, loved, and well-cared-for. Your energetic approach will help create a positive environment for pets and their owners alike, making every stay a joyful experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while building meaningful relationships with pet owners and fellow team members. Responsibilities Provide in-home pet boarding and daycare services, ensuring pets are comfortable, safe, and engaged throughout their stay Feeding, administering medication, and maintaining cleanliness of the pet's environment Perform animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure safety during interactions or veterinary procedures Monitor pet health and behavior, promptly reporting any concerns to owners or veterinary professionals Offer exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pet's needs and well-being. Qualifications Prior experience in pet sitting, dog handling, or kennel work is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training methods and veterinary procedures is a plus Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience will be advantageous Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain animals safely when necessary Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Passion for animals and commitment to providing compassionate care Embark on a rewarding career where your love for animals makes a difference every day!
