Veterinary Assistant We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant with prior experience who shares our commitment to providing exceptional care with kindness, patience, and respect. Position Summary The Veterinary Assistant plays an essential role in supporting veterinarians and licensed technicians while helping create a calm, supportive, and compassionate environment for pets and their people. This position requires hands-on veterinary assisting experience, emotional intelligence, and a genuine dedication to animal care and client service. Requirements (Required) Prior veterinary assisting experience is required Weekend availability is required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining compassion and grace Strong teamwork and communication skills Commitment to providing empathetic, respectful patient and client care Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their visit Safely restrain patients using calm, low-stress handling techniques Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment Support hospitalized and surgical patients as directed Communicate with clients in a clear, kind, and empathetic manner Assist with basic laboratory tasks and patient care duties Maintain accurate records and follow hospital protocols Uphold safety, cleanliness, and ethical standards within the hospital
