Job Description

Veterinary Assistant. Responsibilities include driving the practice vehicle to and between farm calls, restraining animals (horses, donkeys, sheep and goats) during veterinary exams and procedures, cleaning and restocking the practice vehicle, and helping prepare laboratory samples and submission paperwork. Candidates must have experience working with horses, although veterinary experience is not required. Candidates must have a clean driving record and a valid FL driver's license. Candidates must also have the physical ability to be out in the heat for up to 10 hours at a time, lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to run with/next to a horse for short periods of time.
