Starting at $16/hour (probationary; role-based increases available) About Us A HOPE is a nonprofit organization operating Snip Happens Veterinary Clinic , a high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter clinic. We serve anyone with dogs or cats , providing efficient, compassionate, and accessible care. Our team is Fear Free certified and committed to both patient well-being and a positive client experience. Position Overview We are hiring multiple team members across the following roles: Veterinary Technician Technician Assistant Receptionist Applicants will apply through this listing and identify their best fit. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding environment where every team member contributes to both patient care and client experience. What We're Looking For We need individuals who are: Hardworking, reliable, and consistently on time Team-oriented with strong communication skills Comfortable working with clients and coworkers in a high-volume setting Able to move quickly, stay organized, and adapt throughout the day Comfortable with technology and efficient workflows All team members must be comfortable handling or willing to learn to handle: Dogs Cats Domesticated rats (Yes, we foster rats too) Role-Specific Expectations Veterinary Technicians (Required Experience): Prior veterinary clinic experience required Blood draws Anesthesia monitoring TPRs Animal handling and restraint
Technician Assistants & Receptionists:
Prior experience preferred, but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting Frequent lifting, bending, standing, and moving quickly Ability to handle animals safely and confidently Strong multitasking and time management required Schedule Monday-Thursday clinic operations 10-hour shifts expected (varies by day) Earliest start: 6:30 AM | Latest end: 6:00 PM One Friday per month required (still a 4 day work week) Three-day weekends most weeks
Note:
We do not accommodate modified schedules (no late arrivals or early departures).
