Job Description

VCA All Animal Hospital in Orange Park, FL is looking for a caring, dependable Kennel Attendant (Animal Care Attendant) to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and wants to be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment. Whether you're experienced in animal care or looking to grow your skills in a veterinary setting, we'd love to meet you. In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping our hospital clean, safe, and comfortable for our patients. Hospital sanitation is essential to the health and recovery of the pets in our care, and your attention to detail will make a meaningful difference every day. What you'll do: Clean and sanitize cages, kennels, and treatment areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment Feed and care for dogs and cats with compassion and attentiveness Walk dogs and monitor their comfort and well-being Bathe dogs as needed Help with laundry and overall hospital cleanliness Keep all areas of the hospital neat, organized, and welcoming Support Doctors and Veterinary Technicians when needed What we're looking for: A self-motivated, dependable individual who takes pride in their work and can stay on task independently A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic A genuine love for animals and a desire to provide excellent care Interest in growing within a veterinary setting Preferred (but not required): Experience in animal care, boarding, or a veterinary hospital Entry-level technician assistant skills such as safe animal restraint, basic lab preparation, and assisting with patient care
Compensation:
