Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to provide excellent service in a kennel environment.Duties:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
- Feed, water, and monitor the well-being of animals
- Clean kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Assist with bathing and grooming of animals
- Exercise and socialize animals under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of animal health and behavior
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in dog handling, animal care, and animal physiology
- Experience in pet sitting is a plus
- Ability to handle various animals with care and compassion
- Strong understanding of animal restraint techniques This position offers the opportunity to work closely with animals in a rewarding environment.
