Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as an Experienced Veterinary Assistant / Technician, working Tues-Fri 8am-6pm! This energetic role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to make a real difference in pet health and well-being. Duties Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for pets and staff during examinations and procedures Support laboratory work including sample collection, processing, and basic testing procedures Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, medication administration, and clinical notes in compliance with clinic standards Provide pet care , including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animals' health status Assist with animal catheterization, wound care, and other critical veterinary procedures as needed Skills Strong veterinary technician experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology and clinical practices Critical care experience in veterinary settings to handle urgent situations confidently Expertise in animal restraint techniques for dogs and cats. Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain sterile environments during procedures Laboratory experience supporting diagnostic testing and sample processing Excellent animal handling skills with a focus on animal physiology and anatomy knowledge. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
