Veterinary Assistant

The staff at Courtyard Animal Hospital is a small group of dedicated animal healthcare professionals. We have no drama and enjoy working together. We work hard but our days include joking around, frequent coffee runs, and the deep satisfaction of helping people and their pets. We are currently seeking a part-time with possibility of full-time once Summer has ended. Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. You'll play an important role in helping patients, communicating with clients, and ensuring the smooth running of our facility. Responsibilities include making sure all areas and equipment are clean, assisting the veterinarian in examinations and surgical procedures, and educating clients on our recommendations. The pay range is $17-19 per hour, with an average schedule of 20-25 hours per week. Small animal handling experience and knowledge of basic veterinary care is ideal, but we will train the right individual. Willingness to be cross trained for reception is a plus.
