Family-owned practice seeks a highly professional, experienced veterinary assistant. Our ideal candidate will be extremely motivated, well-rounded, and should love animals as much as we do! The ability to multi-task and to handle a constant work load are a must for this position. We are looking for someone with experience in animal handling as you will need to handle cats and dogs in an exam setting. Be prepared to learn new skills and to work with limited supervision. You will also need to be fluent in English. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus and Spanish-speaking employees will be paid accordingly. Schedule flexibility is required as you will need to work weekends. Veterinary Assistants will be asked to help do kennel work. After a 4 month probationary period, employee discounts are available. Insurance is possible. Wages are dependent on your skill set. We also require all of our employees to be vaccinated for COVID, and able to supply vaccination card upon request.
