Full Job Description Company Overview Description:
Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital:
Is seeking a full or part-time Veterinary assistant to work alongside a large Veterinary team. This role is vital to the development, growth, and future of the hospital. We are a multi-doctor practice, open 7 days a week, and continue to grow. We are looking for a self-driven veterinary professional who can work with many doctors, and has a can-do attitude!
Requirements:
Client-service skills General knowledge of hospital organization and interest in client service and pet care Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fluctuating environment and coordinate between multiple departments. On-time- and ready to work Compassion and a positive can-do attitude. Able to lift 50 lbs Full-Time must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, and will include some weekends, holidays, and nights. Part-time must be able to work a flexible shift and will fill in as needed. Basic understanding of operations, coaching, development
Preferences:
Previous Veterinary Hospital experience is preferred but not required.
