Job Description
Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant Arbor Animal Hospital in La Grange Park is seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who enjoys working with both people and pets. Our hospital offers a positive, close-knit work environment where exceptional patient care and outstanding client service are our highest priorities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds on a regular basis Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Friendly, compassionate, and dependable with a positive attitude Responsibilities include: Greeting clients and their pets Answering phones and scheduling appointments Assisting the veterinarian during appointments Obtaining complete patient histories Maintaining accurate medical records Processing payments Managing emails and faxes Assisting with patient care as needed Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming hospital environment At Arbor Animal Hospital, our goal is to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine with compassion while emphasizing client education and personalized care.Hospital Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday:
8:00 AM- 6:00
PM Wednesday:
8:00 AM- 1:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM- 3:00 PM There are no evening on-call responsibilities, no weekends, and no holiday shifts, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. Starting salary is based on experience

Pay:
$18.00- $25.
