Job Description

Full-Time | Fast-Paced Veterinary Hospital | Team-Based Environment Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Do you love both people and pets? Can you juggle phones, patients, and teamwork without losing your sense of humor? If so, we want to meet you. We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant who is dependable, emotionally intelligent, and motivated to be part of a collaborative, supportive team. This is a dual-role position that combines hands-on patient care with front-desk client service.
What You'll Do Client Service Responsibilities:
Greet clients with empathy and professionalism Answer multi-line phones and triage calls appropriately Schedule appointments and manage medical records Process payments and review treatment plans Support clients during high-stress and emotional situations
Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist doctors and technicians with patient restraint and procedures Provide client education Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas Perform basic laboratory tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital What We're Looking For Prior veterinary experience preferred (but we will train the right person) Strong communication skills and emotional resilience Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Team-oriented mindset Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Comfortable with animals of all sizes and temperaments Our Culture We believe culture matters.
