Join Our Growing Team at Lawrenceburg Veterinary Clinic -
Veterinary Assistant Location:
818 US Highway 50 East Lawrenceburg Indiana 47025
Schedule:
Full-Time | 36-40 hrs a week- 8:00am-5:30pm & 1-2 Saturday/month (8 AM1PM)
Pay Range:

What You Bring to the Table 1+ years of veterinary assistant experience Skilled in canine/feline restraint, blood draws, in-house lab testing, vaccine administration, knowledge of canine and feline monthly preventions, and medication administration Experience assisting with and monitoring sedated patients during appointments and procedures, as needed Strong client communication skillsboth in person and over the phone Experience with veterinary software (Ezyvet a plus!) Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environmentYour Role in the Pack Assist doctors with exams, appointments, treatments, and in-room procedures Perform blood draws, administer vaccines and medications, and run in-house lab tests Safely assist with patient sedation and monitoring during select appointments, following doctor direction Communicate clearly, compassionately, and efficiently with clients Support and mentor newer assistants as they grow their skills Thrive in a high-volume, team-oriented environment by staying adaptable, prioritizing tasks, and keeping workflows moving smoothly Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment organized, stocked, and ready for action Why Joining Our Community is the Way to GoLawrenceburg Vet Clinic is proud to be part of the Community Veterinary Partners (CVP) network.
