Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is an entry level position with on the job training available. We look for applicants that are hungry, humble, and smart in the workplace and are excited to learn and be part of a team that cares!
Duties:
Feed, bathe, and exercise animals. Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, and examination and operating rooms. Restrain animals during examination and laboratory procedures. Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care
  • Patience and good work ethic
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in animal care or veterinary settings preferred but not required
  • Ability to be flexible and potentially cover shifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
