Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Technician to join our team. This role supports the daily care of hospitalized patients and assists the medical team with a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Feed, medicate, and monitor hospitalized animalsClean and sanitize kennels, hospital areas, and equipmentAssist with animal restraint, exams, surgical prep, and post-op careDocument medications, diets, behaviors, and health concernsRestock supplies and sterilize surgical instrumentsHelp with triage, lab sample collection, diagnostics, and anesthesia monitoringCommunicate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements:

Comfortable with strong odors, loud noises, and potential exposure to bites, scratches, or contagious diseasesDetail-oriented, team-focused, and eager to learnWe offer hands-on and virtual training opportunities to help you grow in your role and beyond.

QualificationsWe're looking for:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferredCompassionate, calm, and a strong team player with excellent communication and multitasking skillsSkilled in proper animal restraint, cleaning/disinfecting, and handling moderate physical laborBonus skills: sample collection, medical histories, lab processing, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoringSelf-motivated with a desire to grow and expand knowledgeAble to follow directions, recognize abnormal conditions, and provide gentle care to sick or injured animalsAdditional InformationWe offer our staff:
