  • $15 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Laboratory procedures Clinic experience Veterinary clinic experience Animal husbandry Dog training Full Job Description Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Experience in animal restraint, assisting in collecting and analyzing lab samples, capturing diagnostic imaging.
  • Surgical preparation, assistance and anesthesia monitoring experience a bonus.
  • Provide basic information to clients regarding pet care, vaccinations, and preventive treatments
  • Process payments, handle financial transactions, and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
  • Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
  • Collect client information, update records, and verify insurance coverage
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures and treatments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of pet care, animal handling, and animal husbandry practices
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology and basic laboratory procedures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used in veterinary clinics
  • Experience with dog training or handling is a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience.
