Equine Track Affiliates is looking for an Equine Veterinary Assistant to join our team for the remainder of the Delta Downs Thoroughbred racing meet . This is a great opportunity for someone with equine experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is interested in working alongside veterinarians in the Thoroughbred racing industry.

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting veterinarians with daily appointments and treatments Handling and restraining horses safely Preparing supplies and equipment for veterinarians Assisting with inventory management, organization, and restocking Helping maintain veterinary vehicles, equipment, and work areas Assisting with organization and daily operations at the racetrack Other veterinary-related duties as needed Ideal candidates should: Have previous horse-handling experience Be dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Be able to safely work around Thoroughbred racehorses Have reliable transportation Be willing to work a seasonal schedule through the end of February Be able to pass a background check Previous veterinary assistant or technician experience is a plus, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong equine experience and a willingness to learn.
