Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Attendant and Front Desk Associate, where your passion for animals and exceptional customer service skills will shine! In this energetic role, you'll be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing a warm welcome while ensuring the highest standards of animal care. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on pets and their owners every day! Duties Greet clients warmly at the front desk, answer questions, and schedule appointments with enthusiasm and professionalism Manage check-in and check-out procedures for pets, ensuring accurate records of pet care services Handle animal care duties including feeding, cleaning kennels, administering medications, and monitoring health status Assist with dog handling activities such as walking, socializing, and basic training to promote good behavior Support veterinary team members with tasks like animal restraint, grooming, and basic veterinary assistance when needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment Requirements Prior experience in kennel work or animal handling is highly preferred Must be comfortable working with pets: dogs, cats, small furry animals, etc. Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is advantageous Strong knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet care best practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with animals safely Ability to work with chemicals Ability to work outdoors Basic understanding of veterinary procedures and pet health monitoring is desirable Must be reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Must be willing to work weekends Must be willing to work holidays (shortened hours) Join us in creating a caring environment where pets feel safe and loved!
