Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the overall well-being of the animals under our care.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians in performing medical procedures and surgeries
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals
  • Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
  • Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and sterilizing equipment
  • Provide animal restraint during examinations and procedures
  • Assist with pet grooming, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician
  • Proficient in veterinary terminology and animal physiology
  • Experience in animal restraint techniques
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and aseptic technique
  • Ability to perform animal catheterization
  • Familiarity with animal husbandry practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
