As we continue to expand, we're looking for a compassionate and dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant who is eager to learn, loves working with animals, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care and wants to build their skills alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians. If you are motivated, reliable, and passionate about animal welfare, we would love to meet you! What You'll Do Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient appointments and procedures Properly restrain animals for exams and treatments Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes to the medical team Collect and prepare lab samples Provide compassionate client communication and education Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment What We're Looking For Previous veterinary assistant experience Strong animal handling and restraint skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Schedule Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts Must be available for one Saturday per month
