Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of animals. Perform animal restraint techniques to facilitate examinations and treatments. Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian. Prepare animals for surgery, including performing aseptic techniques and assisting with animal catheterization. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using veterinary terminology. Provide front desk support, including scheduling appointments and managing client communications. Monitor animal vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the veterinary team. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilizing equipment and maintaining inventory of supplies.
