South Yarmouth, Massachusetts (In person) Love animals and want a job where your hands-on care actually matters? We're looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team. Why VACC Privately owned and locally rooted on Cape Cod for over 50 years AAHA-accredited — held to the highest standards of veterinary care 10-doctor hospital with a close-knit, supportive team culture Real opportunities to grow and advance within the practice What You'll Do As part of our kennel team, you'll be hands-on in daily patient care — not just cleaning kennels, but actively helping animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for from arrival to departure.
That includes:
Feeding, exercising, and monitoring hospitalized and boarding patients Watching for changes in a pet's condition and reporting them to the care team Keeping kennels and patient areas clean, organized, and comfortable Offering a nervous or scared pet a little extra reassurance when they need it most What We're Looking For A genuine passion for animals At least 1 year of hands-on animal care experience Reliability, attentiveness, and a team-first mindset Benefits 401(k) with company match Health & dental insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Employee discount Uniform allowance Ready to be part of a team that invests in you?
