Role:
The Float Position This is a dynamic, cross-functional role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Veterinary/Kennel Assistant & Client Relations Float , you'll support multiple areas of the practice—from direct patient care and client relations, to hospital upkeep and everywhere in between. No two days look the same, and that's exactly the point. What You'll Do Patient & Clinical Support Assist veterinarians and fellow teammates with exams, treatments, and urgent care Provide safe, compassionate animal restraint Assist in collecting samples and running in-house lab work Prepare and maintain exam, treatment, and kennel areas Client Relations & Front Desk Support Greet and assist clients in person, by phone and text, and via email Schedule appointments and manage communications Process payments, invoices, and prescription requests Support check-ins, discharges, and client education Help create a positive, supportive, and comfortable client experience Hospital Support & Operations Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital Restock supplies and ensure equipment readiness ~ Assist wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly ~ Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings strong soft skills and a team-first mindset—we can train the technical pieces and there is ample opportunity to learn! This is a flexible position open to both part-time ( 30 hours/week) applicants. We're happy to work with the right candidate to find a schedule that fits both your needs and the team's. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
