Job Description
Old Farm Veterinary Hospital is a growing small animal hospital with 2 full time veterinarians. We are an AAHA accredited practice striving for the best care possible for our patients. We are seeking to expand our client service team with the right person. Applicants MUST love animals and work well with people, and want to join our team to help provide both pet and their owners with the best care possible. Could you be the right fit? We are seeking a few part-time client service specialists and vet assistants with the following skills: One year veterinary experience required with customer service preferred Must have a positive attitude and greet clients with a smile! Ability to multi-task under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy or appearance of frustration. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Accurately and consistently follow instructions delivered in oral or written form and relay them to clients Exhibits initiative, honesty, discretion, and sound judgment. Cooperative, motivated, flexible, independent, energetic with the ability to quickly adapt. High School Diploma required, higher education preferred Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred Must be able to work a mix of mornings and evenings and 2 Saturdays per month. 30-35 hours per week. Compensation dependent upon experience.
