Responsibilities Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with clinical procedures such as IV insertions, animal restraint, and medication administration Support animal husbandry tasks including feeding, cleaning kennels, and maintaining a hygienic clinic environment Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use Manage record keeping accurately by documenting treatments, medications, and patient histories using veterinary terminology Monitor pets pre-and post-operatively in conjunction with staff. Experience Previous kennel experience or animal handling background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for working with animals is essential Experience as a veterinary assistant or in veterinary clinic support roles is highly valued Familiarity with surgical procedures, medication administration, IV insertion, and animal restraint techniques is advantageous Preference will be given to those with 1+ years of hands on experience in a veterinary clinic.
