This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring the well-being of their beloved pets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and veterinary practices, enabling them to effectively communicate with clients about their pets' needs and health. Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services offered. Assist in the intake process for animals, ensuring accurate documentation and understanding of client concerns. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' health and care. Assist with treatments as directed by veterinary staff. Provide guidance on animal husbandry practices, pet care, and handling techniques. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and assistants to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during examinations or procedures. Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and behavioral issues related to their pets. Requirements Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of common veterinary terminology is essential. Experience with animal handling, and restraint techniques is highly desirable. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care.
