Job Description
We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant that has a minimum of three years experience working at a multi-doctor, companion animal hospital. The Veterinary Assistant role on our team at Northern Veterinary Associates allows for a wide variety of responsibilities during the day. A majority of the time is involved with assisting the veterinarian or a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Tasks include animal handling, monitoring anesthesia, surgical prep of the pet, filling prescriptions, communicating with clients, inpatient care of patients, and much more. Applicants should enjoy a fast paced work environment and should also be very proficient at multitasking. The Veterinary Assistant profession can be a very rewarding one.
