Full Job Description Duties :
  • Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
  • Collect and update patient information, including medical history and vitals.
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures and laboratory tests
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Provide general pet care advice to clients
  • Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
Qualifications Required :
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and laboratory procedures is a plus
  • Familiarity with kennel operations, pet care, pet sitting, and dog training is beneficial
  • Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments confidently and safely
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor As a veterinary receptionist/assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients while assisting in the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic.
