Job Description
If you are looking for a rewarding career in the veterinary field, with a focus on work/life balance, Arrow Veterinary Clinic is the place to be! We are looking for friendly, energetic, customer service-oriented applicants to join our team! We are one doctor small animal practice in the heart of Lowell. As a hospital, we focus on education and the special relationship between staff, clients, and their pets. We utilize fear-free techniques and gentle handling to help our patients have enjoyable visits. Our goal for employees is to cross-train in multiple areas so we work efficiently as a team to provide the best care possible. A professional demeanor, a caring and compassionate attitude towards animals and their people, and strong organizational and computer skills are a must. Previous veterinary clinic experience is required. We are excited to hear from you! •No weekends, holidays or ER hours.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent • Veterinary Technician Certification (License) 2+ years in the veterinary industry as an assistant or technicianEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum one-year experience as a licensed veterinary technician preferred. OR 2+ years in the veterinary industry as an assistant or technicianPERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 18 years old. Genuinely enjoys working with animals and is able to deal with them even when they are stressed, ill or in pain. Can stay calm and efficient during a medical crisis. Is well-spoken and approaches his/her job duties in a mature nature. Is experienced in the teamwork approach and works well with all levels of hospital team members. Has excellent client communication skills.Benefits:
