Overview We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and vaccination updates. Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail. Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing examination rooms. Provide clients with information on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Skills Knowledge of animal husbandry and veterinary terminology is essential for effective communication with clients and staff. Familiarity with animal anatomy and veterinary critical care practices is a plus. Experience in animal handling or as a veterinary technician or assistant will enhance your ability to support our team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing records and appointments efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their pets.
