Job Description

Fast-paced veterinary clinic looking to hire a Veterinary Technician! Will consider a Veterinary Assistant with job experience. Team members must possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. Multitasking and accepting constructive criticism is essential, punctuality is expected. If this sounds like you, we would love to sit down and meet with you! This job description does not necessarily cover every task or duty that might be assigned. There may be additional responsibilities assigned as necessary. What role you will have in the clinic: Patient appointment intake and discharge Animal handling and restraint Medical records keeping Surgical assisting Patient treatments and husbandry Client communication Wildlife rehabilitation How you will make an impact in our community: You will be an advocate for the patients and their family You'll be a client's teacher and guide for their pet's path to a happy, healthy life You'll maintain a proactive role in patient care You will have a unique position of being 1 of 2 licensed technicians in the county What we have to offer: Paid time off Competitive wages Retirement maximum compensation Paid Employee appreciation outings Most weekends off Opportunities for additional earnings Opportunities for paid continued education Opportunities to pursue individual passions within the field Please submit a cover letter, resume and 3 references to be considered. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 - 42.0 per week
