Saint Paul, MN Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17.50 - $24.00 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description At Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota, our Emergency Triage Representatives are often the very first connection clients have during some of the hardest moments of pet ownership. We're looking for compassionate, calm, and fast-thinking individuals who can support both patients and clients in a busy emergency and specialty environment. In this role, you'll triage incoming patients, communicate with clients, provide status updates, assist with discharges and financial discussions, and support the ER medical team through exceptional client service and patient advocacy. You'll also assist with basic patient care, monitor patient status, and help ensure a smooth and supportive experience for pets and the people who love them. Ideal candidates are organized, emotionally intelligent, able to multitask under pressure, and passionate about veterinary medicine and client care. Prior veterinary, emergency, or client service experience is strongly preferred. Why AERC? Veterinary technician credentials are a plus, but not required for the right candidate. Veterinary technician education or credentials preferred Minimum 2 years of client service, customer support, or related experience required Prior veterinary or emergency veterinary experience strongly preferred Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, emotionally intense environment Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 poundsSimilar remote jobs
