Kennel and Boarding Attendant

• Elm Point Animal Hospital Elm Point Animal Hospital is a fast-paced, full-service veterinary hospital seeking a reliable, positive, and self-motivated team member to join our Kennel and Boarding Department .

(Experience with animals is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person.) Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Greeting pet owners and providing friendly, professional daily updates Exercising dogs and engaging animals through play and enrichment activities Preparing and serving meals according to each pet's dietary needs Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, runs, and surrounding areas Performing basic grounds and facility maintenance Managing laundry and bedding for boarding, hospitalized, and groomed pets Observing and reporting any behavioral or medical changes to veterinary staff Working collaboratively with technicians and other hospital team members

Qualifications:

Must have reliable transportation and open availability , including weekends and holidays Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment Comfortable with physical activity , including lifting up to 50 lbs, walking dogs, and cleaning Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal care and safety
