Veterinary Assistant

We are a fast-paced veterinary hospital looking for a reliable Veterinary Assistant who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and be an essential part of our daily operations. We have 2 full-time doctors and 2 part-time doctors with a bustling clientele so muti-tasking is a must. This is an entry level role that involves a lot of the behind-the-scenes work in veterinary medicine. You'll be supporting doctors and technicians while also helping to maintain a clean and efficient environment for both patients and staff. That being said, you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience learning from great doctors and technicians! Some responsibilities included but are not limited to: Clean and disinfect treatment area and kennels from surgical patients regularly Assist with animal restraint during exams and procedures Handle laundry, dishes, and general cleanliness upkeep Stock supplies Assist with tasks as directed by technicians and doctors Hours are open for discussion during the interview process but evening hours and some Saturdays will be expected.
